FAQs
FAQs
Is the Lunch Pot microwave-safe?
Yes, the Lunch Pot is microwave-safe. Remove lid before microwaving (the lower frosted grey small lid is ok to microwave, but must be unscrewed and set ajar the pot with air allowed to escape before microwaving). Two minutes maximum in one go. Stir and repeat if further heating is required.
Is the Lunch Pot dishwasher-safe?
Yes, all parts can be placed in the top rack of the dishwasher except the clear lid. This needs to be hand washed to maintain the leakproof performance of the product.
Is the Lunch Pot freezer-safe?
Yes, all parts are freezer-safe. Be careful to avoid overfilling the pots with liquid-based foods as these will expand when frozen (by approximately 9%). Please allow it to defrost fully before microwaving/reheating (do not defrost in the microwave).
Is the Lunch Pot BPA and BPS-free?
Yes, the Lunch Pot is BPA and BPS-free.
What do I do if my Lunch Pot Lid gets stuck?
On the side of the lid, there is a vacuum release gap where the seal is exposed. Simply press the seal with the back of the fork handle to allow air into your lunch pot and the vacuum will be released. Do not use a sharp tool to perform this function as the silicone seal can cut and damage easily.
What happens if my Lunch Pot leaks?
Check the seal and make sure that it has not been compacted in any one area. Simply pull the silicone seal out and then reapply, making sure that it is not squashed too tightly at any point. To ensure 100% leak proof function, you should regularly remove the seal, clean thoroughly with hot soapy water and dry fully before reinserting. Ensure the edge of your pot is clean and dry.
How do I remove stains?
If microwaving foods such as tomato sauce, it can leave a stubborn residue stain. This can be removed by applying bicarbonate of soda with a damp cloth to these stubborn stains. It might require repeat applications and will fade away over time. If stains are in areas where the plastic has been scratched/cut with a knife, then these stains are not possible to be removed by washing but will fade over time.

volume measurements
Inside the big pot you will find ml and fl oz markings that make it easy to measure liquid ingredients.
a word from the designer
This design is a reboot of our original Lunch Pot design that we launched in 2009. The original inspiration was Indian tiffin boxes and we adapted the design to make it more convenient for on-the-go. The new design took all the best bits and everything we learnt from the old design and improves on it. The design adapts and allows you to carry a huge variety of different foods with ease, all organised, leak-proof and a pleasure to eat from. The aesthetic is a clean, timeless look that will age well and stand the test of time. While the world might be seeing a backlash to single use plastic, this design used high-quality, built-to-last polymers for all the right reasons that make the design lightweight, durable, leakproof and perfect for on-the-go.
