Dimensions: 40cm x 15cm x 3.5cm (folded)/40cm x 40cm x 14cm (unfolded)
Hand wash only
Can I wash the Insulated Tote Bag in the washing machine? No, this bag is hand-wash only.
Can I put cutlery inside? Yes, but please be careful with sharp or pointed utensils in the insulated compartment. They may pierce/rip the material and affect the insulation and leak proof features of this bag (and we wouldn’t want that).
Is the bag leak proof? Yes, the edges and zips of the Insulated Tote Bag are welded/sealed to prevent small amounts of liquids leaking (from bottles or wet groceries). But it is not designed to carry liquids.
How long will it keep things cool? This is difficult to say as it depends on the content's initial temperature. For example, if you placed a lunch box directly from the fridge into the bag, it would keep it cool for several hours. It’s also useful to add ice-packs to help maintain the cooler temperature for longer. However, please note it is not an ice box/cooler and will not keep things frozen.
What can I use this Tote Bag for? We’ve tested its capacity for all sorts of things, and it can comfortably carry enough for the working day (plus a gym sesh), an overnight stay, a full picnic plus wine, and definitely a trip to the grocery store. It can take quite a lot of weight and the shoulder straps are wide and comfortable. The (bag) really is your oyster, and it’s ready for any adventure.
MADE FROM RECYCLED MATERIALS
Up to 10 plastic bottles have been recycled to create the material for this bag, so you can look good AND feel good. Win-win!
SEPARATE WATER-REPELLENT INNER COMPARTMENT
Protect all that is wet and cold (and keep it that way) with a split-sectioned inner. From wet groceries to muddy boots, it’s so easy to wipe clean there’s no need for a plastic bag.
EXTRA WIDE STRAPS FOR HEAVY LOADS
The shoulder straps with reinforced stitching have been designed to comfortably take a lot of weight, so a big grocery shop (or a few bottles of wine), is no problem.
EASY ACCESS TO SMALL ESSENTIALS
The separate inner zip pocket means you won’t lose your keys (and also keeps them safe).
The Tote Bag folds down flat for convenient storage, clip popper buttons on the side and base hold it in place.
Shoulder straps or short catch handles - whatever suits you.
A WORD FROM THE DESIGNER
When we begin to concept any new design, we always ask the question, “Does the world really need this? Or, is what’s available good enough?“. In the case of tote bags, there is definitely already a lot out there, but we felt there was room for improvement. Made from the same recycled PET as our Lunch Bag (which has fast become a bestseller), but larger and slightly more versatile, the Insulated Tote Bag is an everyday bag. It has an insulated food-safe separate compartment with welded leak proof seams, and it folds flat for compact storage and is easy to carry. We added an extra zipped pocket for easy access to your keys, phone, or wallet. The zip-top also makes it secure and ensures nothing will fall out when it is fully packed. We’ve also added two sets of carry straps, wide comfortable shoulder straps for heavy loads or lower catch handles for when carrying by hand. It is a truly versatile design that can be used for carrying for the working day (plus a gym sesh), an overnight stay, a full picnic plus wine, and definitely a trip to the grocery store.
